Everyone knows that Skin City is the authentic and original number one body painting company in Las Vegas, made up of real Vegas artists in operation since 2006.
What you might not know is that Skin City has moved – joining the ranks of the artists and entrepreneurs at the newest arts collective in town: Downtown Spaces at 1800 Industrial Road. Skin City has grown – with an expanded photo and video area, art gallery, conference room and of course lots of room for body painting!
Skin City’s Grand Re-Opening Bash is open to the public for a $5 door donation, which includes a raffle ticket and a free large lithograph print by Skin City art star Ragen Mendenhall. We hope you will come celebrate this new chapter for Skin City on January 3, 2014 from 7pm till midnight with body painted models, cocktails, cupcakes by Showboy Bakery, a silent art auction and music!
On display will be the world’s first body paint hologram being flown in just for the event by East Coast body paint master Paul Roustan. You need to see it to believe it! More info about it here: http://www.roustanbodypaint.com/hologram
Page Overton of the celebrated local band The Clydesdale will be performing a rare acoustic set 9pm-11pm.
Plus the brand new band KoocheeKoo – featuring musicians from almost every major Strip show combining forces with Penny Pibbets from Absinthe as their bandleader – will be making their debut performance at the After Party at the Hard Hat Lounge across the street.
Skin City owner Robin Slonina (judge and producer of the upcoming bodypaint competition series Skin Wars) will be on hand doing a live body paint demo on local starlet Angel Porrino. Lots more surprises are in store, and we are hoping everyone will come out to support local arts and this homegrown downtown business!
Thanks for your support!
