Blue Jeans Bodypaint Class

Body painting clothing, especially blue jeans, is an increasingly sought-after skill for body paint artists. Event planners and body paint clients love the double-take viewers make by a pair of realistic-looking jeans. Getting this unique technique right takes some skill and finesse.

This is a hand–painting brush class. Basic supplies will be provided by Skin City, but please bring your own bodypaint cakes and brushes if you’ve got them!

You will be asked to paint on your own arm or leg as part of the demo, so dress accordingly. You can also sign up with a “buddy artist” and plan to paint each other. Space allowing, it’s possible to bring your own model, but please message us to arrange permission first!

Steven Horlock has been a body painter with Skin City Body Painting for 10 years. His work includes jaw-dropping full bodypaint designs for custom fantasy costumes, animal designs, realistic portraits and specialized corporate events.  He works with airbrush and traditional brushwork. Whatever it takes to push his designs to be more realistic or sharp. He is also a traditional oil painter and digital artists.
