Is it hard to remove the body paint? What kind of paint do you use? |
|||
|
A. The cost of body painting has many variables -- including the amount of time, manpower and supplies needed for any given job. Please call 702.431.7546 and we'll work out what your needs are. You will either be given a quote over the phone, or a quote will be worked out for you in a day or two and sent through email. Note that special discount pricing may be available for multiple models, or if you combine services, such as body paint, hair and makeup, and professional photography.
Q. How long does it take to paint a body? A. Depending on the design and amount of coverage, a body paint session could take a few minutes or up to six hours or more. A simple one-color, air-brushed stencil could be done in a snap, whereas a full-body, very detailed design could take many hours. Bigger jobs or the need for many models could call for extra body paint artists, which helps reduce the overall prep time.
A. We use cinema-quality, professional body paint that won't flake, crack, rub off, or smear. It only takes a few minutes to dry, and once dry, you can touch it, hug people, and even throw on light, soft clothing over it.
Q. How long does the paint stay on? A. If you follow our directions and your skin is free of lotion or oil, the paint should last all day/night. However, all skin types are different, and the paint does need to be treated with relative care.
A. Everyone who is body painted receives a removal kit (rubbing alcohol and baby oil) and detailed, written instructions.
Q. What kind of paint do you use? A. Skin City prides itself on using only the highest-quality, professional grade body paint that's safe for skin and non-toxic. Depending on the needs of the job, we'll either use an alcohol-based or a water-based paint. The alcohol-based paint lasts longer takes longer to remove, whereas the water-based paint comes off very easily with soap and water. Water-based paint is always our choice for children and pregnant women. Alcohol-based paint is preferred for event models, performers, and go-go dancers.

Q. What do I need to do on the day of body painting? A. Come with shaved skin and NO OIL OR LOTION on your body. This will affect the paint's adhesion.
Q. What if I have other questions? A. Feel free to call 702.431.7546 any time! Don't be shy -- we've heard it all! If we're unable to take your call, just leave a message, and someone will get back to you as quickly as possible. Or drop us an email at info@skincitybodypainting.com. |
